Men and women are on two opposite sides regarding when to hit the sheets with your new flame. Some suggest waiting for the third date as the standard, while others insist on abstinence until the fifth.
Others argue there’s no strict schedule or number of dates that will dictate when it’s time to give it up. They say that sex shouldn’t be seen as a reward for good behavior but as a shared experience between two people who want to explore each other.
How Many Dates Should You Go On Before You Have Sex?
Talia Goldstein, CEO of Three Day Rule, a white glove matchmaking service says, “I suggest developing a substantial understanding of the potential partner before they have sex. That requires finding out the person’s life story and how he can fit into it. Then he needs to figure out if he’s good with that spot; it might take some discussion or negotiation to get it right,”
She is basically highlighting the advantage of consummating that it provides enough time to get to know someone.
